Last month, I participated in the organization and discussion of a «descongreso» on scholarly and scientific communication in Latin America. Forming a collaboration between the global inclusion sub-group of Force11’s Scholarly Commons group and a group of researchers and students from the University of Chile, this event allowed us to exchange ideas, issues, and solutions on the topic of communication and knowledge sharing.
As it was an unconference, there was no program before this event; the participants made the program and selected the specific topics on the spot. We chose five major topics for discussion:
Last month, I helped to organize and participated in an unconference on scholarly communication in Latin America. Based on collaboration between the global inclusion sub-group of the Force11 Scholarly Commons Working Group and a group of researchers and students from the University of Chile, this event was an opportunity to exchange ideas, issues, and solutions regarding scholarly communication and the sharing of knowledge.

La edición de 2019 se celebrará en la Universidad de Girona (España) los días 30/31 de mayo de 2019 sobre «Resistencias indígenas».
